Oh Where O' Where Are My Babies!?

Well, all of the sweet puppies are with their new families now.  I'm so happy for all of you, but have to admit so sad for me! ; )
You are all such wonderful people and I don't think I any of these puppies could have found better parents than you guys.  I know you will all treat them like family and love them like your own child!

Please give them lots of hugs and kisses from me and my daughter and of course from you!

Send updates whenever you get time if it's possible.  Here is girl #7 with her new tame, Tink, sleeping comfortably with her new collar & family. I love it! She's so happy and I'm so happy for her and her new family. Thanks Shauna!

Happy New Year To You All and take care!!!

Week 5: Almost there! Just a few days left. : )

Wow... I can't believe by next week most of these babies will be with their new parents! It makes me so sad to think about and I will apologize now because I might cry when you pick them up!

They are all such sweet little puppies and I know they will make you all so happy.  They eat tons and are eating canned food and dry food moistened with water. They love it. : )

If you're wondering what to get for them, buy your new puppy a soft bed.  Petsmart had a good deal last week for their small beds that came with a blanket and chew toy for just $19.99.  Boxers love to chew so definitely keep anything you like off the floor!  Also, from personal experience, they love to chew plants and small trees so if you get a new tree or plant, surround it with a fence or in one hour it will be GONE!

They have been dewormed once, so when you get their six week shots, you will also want to get another dewormer.  Make an appointment with a well known vet for their 6 weeks shots.  Make sure you know all the reactions that these shots have and should not have and call your vet right away if anything worries you. Try not to take your puppy to to many public places or walking until
______

Time for pictures! I have to say, this was my most challenging yet.  Some of the puppie were not too happy with it, but eventually got used to it and cooperated.  Each puppy has 3-4 photos. I hope you enjoy!
* Don't worry! No puppies were harmed in the process of making these photos... just a bit annoyed. : D *

Week 5: Coming Soon!

*You're going to love these pictures! I'm making the blog now and hope to have it up no  later than 1pm.  so cute! (Friday, Dec. 17th)

I apologize for being a little late this week.  It's been super busy at home and work and haven't had as much time as usual.  However, I did go to the store to buy a few things to take their pictures with. : ) Hehe
I wanted to buy soooo much because I had so many ideas! But at checkout I had to put most of it back because my total was way too extreme for just picture purposes. : )

I have their little picture area all set up and tonight I will take their pictures. I have some holiday cleaning to do as Val's mother, aunt and step- son (yay!) are coming in tomorrow afternoon, so I probably won't be able to post until tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your patience and check back tomorrow!

Cats Playing Patty-cake, what they were saying...

I know this has nothing to do with boxer puppies, but this video was
so funny to me, it made me cry. What can I say; I love cats. : )
I thought this could brighten up someone's day! : )

Week 4: That's my food!

This week starts their 4th week in this world. What an exciting week we had last week! We introduced our sweethearts to canned puppy food- Yum!

The name: Nutro Ultra Holistic Puppy Food
Benefits:

  • Healthy Skin and Coat: Contains a combination of superfoods like avocado, sunflower and flaxseed that are rich in essential fatty acids for a healthy skin and a shiny, soft coat — one of the best indicators of your dog's vitality

  • Lean Muscle Mass: Three animal proteins from chicken, lamb and salmon provide essential Amino Acids that help promote lean muscle mass

  • Strong Immune System: Antioxidant-rich superfoods like blueberries, pomegranate, tomatoes and cranberries help build and maintain a healthy immune system so your puppy will have the best protection possible

  • Cognitive Development: Nutrient-rich whole foods such as salmon and egg are rich in DHA, which has been shown to promote cognitive development and healthy brain function so your puppy can learn to sit, stay and play

  • Strong Teeth and Bones: Contains optimal calcium levels to help growing puppies build strong teeth and bones

  • It was so fun watching them eat this for the first time. They were SO excited.  We started out with three bowls... two days later went to four bowls and today I decided to add a fifth bowl because they're arguing over food now!  I even added almost a whole other can of food. They growl, they push, they bark and howl.  They look forward to their Ultra puppy food for breakfast and dinner. In between, they still drink milk from their mom.  Their belly's are round and full and I can tell that each one has gained weight from it.

Here are a few pictures of their first time eating the food!

Now the fun part... how does your baby look?  They're growing so fast and some that started off smaller are now getting larger.  Their characteristics are coming out and they're starting to wrestle with one another.  We take them outside to potty and we have puppy pads.  In no way are they potty trained, but we're hoping a few of them will figure out the pattern.    If you have picked out a name for your puppy and you would like us to start calling him or her by it, please let us know!

Below are the new pictures I took last night.  Most of them barely fit in the sleigh!  Each puppy will have at least two pictures below. Now that they are getting older, it's fun to be more creative. I can't wait to see what I think of next week!  ; )
